Give the gift of art in community. 
 
Any amount helps students in need of joy, creativity,
and renewel, find it without added financial burden.
Right now in the Twin Cities, folks are doing all they can to take care of their neighbors during this occupation. Protesting, observing, being medics, delivering meals and groceries, printing & distributing whistles, organizing, creating community space & artworks to boost the signal. 
But also small businesses and workers are struggling, some for fear of raids and detainment, some from lack of traffic due to the occupation and the uncertainty of this time. 
Then there is the mental, physical & emotional toll all of this takes. This program is meant to assist anyone in need of art in community who would not be able to attend otherwise.  
Once we get through this, and we will together, this program will continue to assist those with financial obstacles. Right now there is no application process, it will simply be upon request as funds are available. That may need to change if this idea continues to grow. 
*For now the only prioritized requests will be from immigrant students. I will put calls out as funds dwindle and requests grow. 
My true hope is that someday there will be no need for programs like these, and we live in an equitable world. Until then, thank you from the bottom of my heart! As I am financially able, portions of my teaching fee will be donated…but YOU & your giving hearts make this possible!
